Selection Criteria:

How to Qualify for a 2010 Triathlon Canada Team

 Long Distance Tri To register for the team click here.

1. You must be a member in good standing of your Provincial Triathlon Association prior to your qualifying race.

2. Race at one of the listed qualifying events in 2009.

3. Your qualification age group is based on your age as of December 31, 2010.  All results are therefore age adjusted to reflect your age as of December 31, 2010. Should this mean you will be moving up an age group your application will be evaluated based on the adjusted age group results.

4. If you automatically qualified (placed in the top x at the event) you have one week to complete the application form available at: www.triathloncanada.com. 

5. Triathlon Canada will follow-up with a race management guide, travel information and uniform requirements at the end of the 2009 season.

ROLLDOWNS:

Athletes who compete at a qualifying event, but do not automatically qualify can follow a similar procedure to request a ‘rolldown’ position that may be available.

1. You must be a member in good standing of your Provincial Triathlon Association prior to your qualifying race.

2. Race at one of the listed qualifying events in 2009.

3. Your qualification age group is based on your age as of December 31, 2010.  All results are therefore age adjusted to reflect your age as of December 31, 2010. Should this mean you will be moving up an age group your application will be evaluated based on the adjusted age group results.

4. Complete the application form available at  www.triathloncanada.com, within one week of the event

5. Triathlon Canada will follow-up with a race management guide, travel information and uniform requirements at the end of the 2009 season.
